壓縮率會(huì)直接影響波形墊圈的密封效果,若壓縮率過小,使接觸面間不能夠承受足夠大的接觸應(yīng)力,則在流體側(cè)面壓力沖擊下,密封效果不好,容易發(fā)生翻邊或者咬邊;若壓縮率過大,導(dǎo)致波形墊圈和配合表面的接觸應(yīng)力增大,容易發(fā)生橡膠壓裂、扭曲和變形等情況,還會(huì)使轉(zhuǎn)配不便。

經(jīng)過了測(cè)試得出的結(jié)果是,施加較小介質(zhì)壓力時(shí),有無擋圈配合并不影響波形墊圈的密封性能。施加較大介質(zhì)壓力時(shí),無擋圈配合的波形墊圈因變形過大而被擠入箱體與活塞之間的間隙,出現(xiàn)間隙咬傷現(xiàn)象,而有擋圈配合的波形墊圈,靠近溝槽根部的應(yīng)力較大,但沒有出現(xiàn)間隙咬傷;

動(dòng)密封中,壓縮率對(duì)波形墊圈與箱體內(nèi)壁接觸面的大接觸應(yīng)力影響較大,大接觸應(yīng)力與壓縮率近似呈正比例變化。壓縮率不宜過大,也不宜過小,應(yīng)控制在8%~17%范圍內(nèi);

在動(dòng)密封中,配合擋圈后的波形墊圈的大接觸應(yīng)力隨著介質(zhì)壓力增大而增大,在承受35兆帕的介質(zhì)壓力時(shí),仍然能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)密封作用。
